Vaccinations for incoming 8th and 12th graders

The Schuyler County Health Department will be offering required vaccines for incoming 8th graders and incoming Seniors on Wednesday, April 25th at the school.  The vaccines included are Menactra and Tdap for 8th graders and Menactra for Seniors.  If you would like your child to receive vaccinations, please have all forms, which were sent home with students the week of March 9th, filled out and signed.   Extra forms may be picked up in the High School Office if you need a new one.   If you have insurance, please provide that information and we will check eligibility before we administer the vaccine.  VaxCare provides and bills for the vaccination for eligible insurance recipients.  If you have not met your deductible, you will receive a bill from VaxCare.  We can also provide vaccines from the VFC program for uninsured, underinsured, Medicaid-eligible, American Indian or Alaskan Native.  For information on additional vaccines or you have questions you may contact the Schuyler County Health Department at 660-457-3721.  Please return forms to the school at your earliest convenience but are due by Wednesday, April 4th
