Schuyler is interested in having local businesses sponsor halftime festivities during our varsity basketball games this season. We believe this would be a great way to get community involvement with some of the businesses we have located in Schuyler County. Some ideas for halftime activities could be: Dodgeball - elementary student vs elementary of another school, MS vs. MS, HS vs. HS etc Beat the clock - make lay-up, FT, 3 pointer, Half - Court Shot Twist Contest - twist around a bat 10 times - make a lay-up and free throw - go against somebody Dueling free throws with the opposing team Half court shot off Student section that is the best dressed during a game - Lumber jacks etc. Nerf Football - throw a nerf football through a hoop Putting a golf ball to the other side in a cup for a prize This list is not all inclusive and we would be up for any other great ideas that you might have. If you would like more information or if you would like to sign up for a game, please contact AD Chris Prewitt (cprewitt@schuyler.k12.mo.us). Our home varsity games are limited so first come first serve. Thanks!
