MAP and EOC testing schedule for the JH and HS:
EOC--May 10 Biology and Government; May 11, 12, & 13 Algebra I; May 17 & 19 English II
MAP--Friday May 13, 17, and 19

BASEBALL UPDATE
Due to wet fields, our game is being moved to Moberly High School. They have a turf field which we will be playing on tonight. We play at 4:30pm. The start time is moved up because Westran is playing a double header so they will have a game after ours. There will not be a concession stand.
Baseball players will be released at 1:45pm
Correction on parking today for Grand March:
Those participating in Grand March should park behind the elementary and spectators should park in the front of the school.
On Friday, members from the NEMO Health Council and Schuyler Co Nursing Home presented about various jobs in healthcare.

We had a lot of fun kicking off for MAP testing last week with dress up days and an assembly. 3rd-6th students worked so hard this week on their MAP tests! Keep up the great work next week as well!
Our little scientists have been busy learning in preschool! They learned about reflections and shadows. Then, they created pictures using reflections and shadows. So fun!
Preschool enjoyed making bar graphs with jelly beans!
Preschool conducted a science experiment with celery and food coloring. The students did a wonderful job of making predictions and observations.
Preschool got to meet a 2-day-old lamb named Emma a couple of weeks ago. The children loved how soft and little she was. Thank you, Kimberlie, for bringing her!
Our Kindergarten students have worked hard all year to develop their writing skills. Way to be Motivated Achievers!
Kindergarten practiced sight words around Easter time by finding hidden eggs with words inside them.
In Social Studies, first graders learned about goods and services. They practiced identifying goods and services in various texts and stories.
In Science, first grade has been talking about birds and how they use their beaks for survival. For a real-world connection, Mrs. Erwin brought her rooster, Frank, in for a visit.
Join us for our Title Spring Annual Meeting to discuss how we utilize our Title funds and how we could use these funds in the 2022-23 school year. We will meet in the conference room Monday, May 2nd at 3:30 PM before the scheduled PTO meeting.
