
PK-6 students are coming home with a packet from SchoolMall. Participation is optional. Packets are due by Friday, March 9th. If your child returns the packet, he/she will receive a smiley face ring or bracelet as well as being entered into a drawing for a remote controlled 2 foot minion inflatable.

Paperwork for the Hooves and Horns sports physical are due March 5th, filled out with $10. These are good for the 2018-19 sports. Paperwork can be found at the following link: http://5il.co/2ts2.

The After-Prom Committee is sponsoring a Donkey Basketball game on March 8th, 7pm in the High School Gym. Ticket are $7 if purchased in advance at the school offices and Queen City water office.


Order forms for spring pictures are going home today. PICTURES ARE FRIDAY, MARCH 16TH. Only those who order will have their picture taken. There will not be retakes.

Our Special Olympics team competed in the East Regional basketball tournament in St. Charles on February 17. They played two games: the first went into overtime, and the second was won by two points. They will be going on to state! Congratulations!

An extension of the volcano activity: a chemical reaction science experiment. They put drops of vinegar on baking soda to watch it fizz.





Preschool students learned the letter Vv this week and erupted a volcano!





Ms. Salter’s Kindergarten worked hard on decorating a 100 day quilt this week!


Schuyler R-1 will be hosting the Class 2 District 7 Basketball games starting on Monday, February 19th until February 24th.

At tonight’s tri-meet, the JH Campus Bowl team beat Westran but lost to Scotland. The Varsity team beat both Westran and Scotland!

Menu Change: Tomorrow’s lunch (2-15-18) will be (1) hotdog on a bun, (2) meatball sub, (3) salad, and (4) nacho muchables.
