SENIORS: Show-Me to College Scholarship (formerly called Access EXTRA Scholarship) is now available.
The amount is up to $2000 and is renewable for four years!
This scholarship is open to:
-2025 Missouri high school seniors who are enrolled full-time at an eligible Missouri public or private higher education institution for the 2025-2026 academic year
-Have a Student Aid Index (SAI) of 12,000 or less as determined on the FAFSA.
-Have earned a 3.50 or higher on a 4.0 scale cumulative weighted or unweighted GPA through at least seven semesters at a Missouri high school
-Show involvement in activities such as participation in clubs, organizations, sports, community service, employment, and/or family caregiving.
Deadline is 4/1/25, but don't wait that long.

On Tuesday, approx. 50 students from Dempsay’s Health classes and Prewitt’s P.E. classes participated in the MO Highway Patrol’s Impairment Program presented by Officer Justin Dunn. Students participated in a series of exercises that showed how being impaired could affect your ability to function properly, leading to serious consequences.


JH Scholar Bowl competed in the sprint tournament on Saturday and won 2nd place. Congratulations!

The Schuyler Varsity Scholar Bowl earned second place and the small school championship at Palmyra’s PAWS tournament on Saturday, February 1.
Congrats to Varsity Rams Carter, Colin, Parker and Jaxson and JV Rams Deacon, Taylor, Asher, Aubrey, Carter, Brendon, and Ace!
The JV Rams had a good showing—going 4-5 on the day.

First grade students have been learning about sounds and vibrations in Science.




Sixth graders are learning about ancient civilizations in social studies. They practiced writing in cuneiform and tried their hand at building a structure to move water.




A big shout out to Autumn from the Schuyler County Ambulance District for serving slushies to our elementary kids this week!


Today was a fun filled day at Schuyler R1. Students in grades 7-12 participated in teacher jail to raise funds for a former student. Student Council and FCA sold candy and soda throughout the day. In the afternoon, students were able to choose an activity (movies, board games, corn hole, volleyball, etc.). Then we wrapped up the day with a pep assembly to wish our Lady Rams and Rams good luck tonight. Be sure to show up for the game, girls tip off at 6.
