Sixth grade learned about density today by doing a liquid layering science experiment!







Today the yearbook students learned how to use the camera so they can capture all the fun memories this school year.


Mrs. Edmonston's geometry classes took part in a gallery walk today to show off their knowledge of points, lines, and planes earlier this week and today they practiced their geometric vocabulary skills by describing diagrams for their partner to draw. One person had to describe the diagram and the other person had to draw it based solely on their partner's description.

Missouri has been approved to administer Summer EBT 2024. This program is a dedication and commitment between the lead agency, the Department of Social Services (DSS), along with DESE. Summer EBT provides Missouri children who were eligible for free and reduced-price school meals in 2023-24 school year the opportunity to receive critical nutrition benefits. Households who need to apply can submit the application online by August 31, 2024. 3rd graders began their Science unit on Motion and Forces last week. They had fun constructing index card bridges.








Mr. Kaden’s 9th grade US History class is reviewing the Civil War to better understand Reconstruction.



In Mrs. Thompson's science classes Biology students are identifying characteristics of living things using different specimens, Zoology students are identifying characteristics of different animal phyla and Anatomy students are practicing using anatomical terminology while doing an autopsy on bananas.







Mrs. Priebe's 8th grade Exploring Business presented careers of interest today.





Mrs. Thompson's College Biology students are using the scientific method.
