JH Lady Rams A team started the Putnam tournament with a 58-7 win over Milan. Back in Putnam tomorrow at 4:30 vs Scotland.
B team took a loss against Scotland tonight at the Schuyler tournament 5-36.
The 7/8 boys won their first game of the season and first game of the Putnam Tourney by beating Milan 39 - 31. Great team effort with three Rams in double figures.

JH Lady Rams fall to Kirksville tonight. B team 18-35. A team 24-31.
The 7th/8th grade boys fought hard against the Kirksville 8th grade team, but fell 62-30 Friday night. Next up is the Putnam 8th grade tourney on Monday. Gage Stump had 12 points, and 5 other players scored as well. Hard team effort. 6/7 grade Rams fall to Kirksville 49-18

JH Lady Rams took on Putnam tonight. B team lost 13-25. A team won 58-6. Back it action tomorrow in Kirksville at 5:00.
6/7 grade Rams win 31-24
The 7th/8th grade boys basketball team lost a tough one 38 - 27. Even though they lost, they played a great 2nd half and figured out some great things they will be able to take with them into future games.

Mr. Dempsey's 8th grade PE class matched up with a few high school students in a volleyball game
Thank you to everyone who came to this evening's K-2 music program! Congratulations to Mrs. Dixon and her students on a job well done! Mrs. Kassens organized a nice gallery to show off the students' art skills as well.
Tonight we installed our senior officers and inducted the new junior members into Schuyler Academic Club. Congratulations on earning a spot in this club.

Mrs. Kassens arranged a great opportunity for our 4th, 5th, and 6th graders to meet an artist in-person that they learn about in class. Today, Michael Albert spoke to the students about his journey to becoming an artist and guided them through a pop art project to take home!

The K-2 music program is Wednesday, November 13th at 7:00 in the MS Gym. The front elementary entrance will be unlocked at 6:30 for students to go to their classrooms. Students need to be in their classrooms by 6:45. Hope to see you there!
JH/HS October Students of the Month.
Mrs. Poe chose Julia Fowler because she works hard, is reliable and always does her best. She is willing to assist other students when they need help. Julia has shown excellent growth in her mathematical education.
Ms Morlan nominated Savannah Williams because she is a hard worker and is always kind to her classmates.
Mrs. Edmonston chose Cadie Randolph because she did an awesome job organizing the 10th grade Homecoming float. She made sure all of the prep work was done prior to float building day and had a list of tasks ready that morning so that everyone knew what they needed to do. Additionally, she is a pleasure to have in class! She works hard and always participates.
