First grade learned about weather in Science. They made it rain in a jar and absolutely loved it!

Third graders got to observe the incubation and hatching process of baby chicks. I think they enjoyed their new friends! Check out those smiles!

In Science, second grade students learned about plants, pollination, and seed dispersal. They did an activity that simulated bees and the pollination process.

It was a pleasure to meet several of our future Rams from the Class of 2036 tonight at Kindergarten Kickoff!

Just passing along information from MACC:
Students are able to take classes in the summer through MACC. We will not transfer them onto the student's high school transcript, however, it does go towards their MACC college transcript. Remember, as long as they are in high school, all MACC classes are the Dual Credit Discounted rate. ($80 a credit hour-it did go up $2 and it starts with summer enrollment). Summer classes start on June 5th. Enrollment is going on NOW. Students will need to meet with an advisor via zoom, click on the link to create an appointment: https://www.macc.edu/academic-advising/

We will be extending the deadline to get signed up for basketball camp to 5/9! Make sure to get your forms turned in by then to guarantee a shirt!

For those traveling to State Scholar Bowl, here is information on how to purchase a parking ticket.

Just a reminder tonight’s varsity baseball game at Kirksville is scheduled for 6pm.

The deadline for the June ACT test is May 5. Remember if you are a junior or senior and have free and reduced lunches, come see Mrs. O'Haver for a fee waiver.

Due to a 50% chance of rain and chilly temps at 6:00 we are moving Grand March inside the high school gym. Students need to line up in the new hallway.
