Scotland County Sprint Bowl:
Oakley placed 2nd in avg questions answered per game in the 5/6 tournament.
Ace placed 6th in the JH tournament.

Congratulations to our Lady Rams for winning the Class 2 District 6 Championship and moving on to the sectional basketball game at Hannibal High School in Hannibal MO on Tuesday, February 28th, 2023 with a tip-off at 6:00pm. There will be a pep rally at 2pm to help send off our girls! The public is encouraged and welcome to attend.

To help accommodate our students/families/ and faculty members who will be attending the game, school will be released at 2:30pm on Tuesday February 28th.
We are working on getting a pep bus organized for 7th-12th grades. Once details are finalized, an announcement will be made. Signups for the bus will be in the high school office and will be leaving at 3:30pm.
Tickets for Tuesday night's game will need to be purchased from the MSHSAA website. We will send out an announcement once they are available for purchase. Tickets must be purchased digitally; they will not be taking cash at the door.
Any additional information will be shared as it becomes available.

School will be dismissing early on Tuesday, February 28th at 2:30. Pep assembly will begin at 2:00. Public is welcome.

February 20-24, 2023 is National School Board Appreciation Week. MSTA honors our dedicated Board of Education members for their commitment and service and thanks them for volunteering their time and efforts for the education of our community’s children. Thank you, Board of Education!


The dance team is traveling to Kansas City for state. Alyvia Applegate and Maddie Fowler are competing solos this evening. Alyvia, Maddie and Kendyl are competing two team dances tomorrow.

The Governor’s Council on Disability is now accepting applications for the 2023 Missouri Youth Leadership Forum (MO-YLF)! Participants will spend 5 days learning about leadership, career exploration, college and employment, goal setting, self-determination, self-advocacy, mentorship, disability history, independent living, and much more. They also will have an opportunity to experience a college environment, as we stay in the college dorms and utilize campus facilities for our different activities.

Med Club students learned and practiced CPR procedures this past Monday with the Scotland County Memorial Hospital.




Anatomy students have been studying the Cardiovascular system and learned about blood pressure.



College Biology students extracted DNA from 4 different fruits.
