A big thank you to Schuyler County Ministerial Alliance, Lancaster Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, and Caring Communities for supporting many of our students and families through Tools for School!
Mrs. Kaden was nominated and chosen to receive a basket of classroom supplies from CorTech International in Kirksville. She was nominated because “she gives so much time and energy to her students.” CorTech delivered supplies to 24 teachers in the Kirksville area.

Sports specific booster shirt order forms are due tomorrow, Aug 20. Forms will be available at open house.
We have the kinks worked out on the notification system, so you should be getting notified of messages. Couple of things to keep in mind: 1) we won't send everything out via notification, some items will just be social media and our website. We don't want to constantly 'ding' your phone. 2) make sure you have notifications turned on in your phone settings and 3) make sure and select which groups you want to be notified from in the Schuyler App. Please see Mrs. O'Haver or an Admin for help.
Yearbooks for grades PK-HS will be available to pick up in Mrs Wolf Room (Rm 139) in the HS.

There will be bleachers setup on the visitor side but our fans are welcome to bring chairs and sit on the track.
There will be a local BBQ truck set up pre-game at 5:30 if anybody is interested. It will be just behind the bleachers.
Open House is tonight!
Elementary—class lists will be posted at 4:00; Open House is 5-6:30; PTO will be providing a hotdog meal
JH/HS—Open House is 5-6:30; 7th grade orientation is 6:30-7 in the commons.
JH/HS—You may feel free to pay your $25 Chromebook fee, $20 class dues (grades 7-8), $25 class dues (grades 9-12).
We encourage ALL families to fill out a free/reduced lunch form. Any student that has theirs filled out will earn an ice cream cone.
Due to changes in the bus routes we will be running a mock route on Thursday August 19th in the am only. This will give you an idea of what time the bus will be at your stop. If you do not see a bus contact Avery Jones at 660-216-8676
The Lancaster Methodist Church and Schuyler County Ministerial Alliance will be hosting Tools for School during Open House on August 19th 5:00-6:30 in the multipurpose room. They have lots of school supplies for ALL students!
Softball game time change:
On September 6, the softball game at Putnam will start at 4:00 pm with the bus leaving at 2:15 pm.

There will be a pad/uniform fitting for JH football players on Wednesday 8/11 @5:30pm at the field house.
Fall sports pictures will be held on August 30th.

Both gym floors will be off limits until 8/16 due to waxing.
The parent meeting that was going to be held on 8/9 @ 6pm in the HS gym, will now be held in the HS commons.
Starting tomorrow (8/4), both the MS and HS gym floors will be getting new wax and will be closed until further notice.

There will be a parent meeting for all athletes (JH and HS) in the HS gym at 6pm on Monday August 9th. If you have a student (6th-12th grade) who plans on playing a fall sport this year at Schuyler, please plan on attending.
