We had a wonderful turnout last night for FAFSA night and wanted to send a special thank you to the Truman State University Financial Aid office ladies for their help.




Yesterday, students attended an apprenticeship fair at Truman State University



We wanted to give a quick shout out to Verl Gordy for his continuing help maintaining school equipment and his support for all of our students here at Schuyler R-1. It is much appreciated.

Just a reminder that dental screenings will be going on October 29 as well as fluoride. If you would like your child to partake in fluoride, we need signed parental consent. They were sent home with students last week.

Schuyler R-1 FBLA will be hosting our annual Mom Prom (mother/son dance) on Nov. 8 from 6-8pm at the school! This is a great opportunity to spend some quality time with your special little guy(s). Please see the attachment for more details!

Students in Mrs. Wolf's Computer Applications class were tasked with writing business letters to companies of their favorite products. Branson Buckallew was the first one that received a response back! Thank you Western Smokehouse! Branson graciously shared with his classmates as well!

XC competed at Salisbury today which is a dual meet and serves as the conference meet along with their regular meet. Overall results are below, however at the LCC Conference level Asher placed 7th and Jaxson placed 9th. Way to go, Rams! We are so proud of you!

5th graders recently constructed a 2D model of Earth in science.


Fifth grade science students learned about the conservation of mass by making slime!









Sixth graders are learning about energy in science. They've conducted several experiments to observe potential, kinetic, thermal, and electrical energy in action.
