Second grade had several guests bring in materials to show students during their Native American unit in social studies.
2nd and 4th grade had a very special guest yesterday! Donovan is a grass powwow dancer and demonstrated for them in his traditional regalia. He then answered the students' questions. It was the perfect way to end their Native American units!

Varsity Basketball kicked off tonight at home vs Palmyra. Lady Rams won 57-44. Rams lost 38-61. Back at it next week for the Tri-Rivers Tournament. 🏀

Final results from the Schuyler 7th grade Tournament.
Lady Rams fell to Putnam in a close game resulting in a three-way tie with Scotland, Schuyler and Putnam all having a 2-1 record. Point differential gave Putnam the overall win.
Our Rams defeated Putnam and with an overall 3-0 record won the trophy. 🏆

We had our November school family time yesterday. There was a wide variety of activities in the building from ornament making to turkey crafts to movies/popcorn to games to tree decorating. We hope your children are enjoying this time with one another as much as we are!
Preschoolers have had a lot of fun incorporating turkeys into their learning and creativity time.
Second graders wrapped up their Native American unit by constructing dioramas of Woodlands or Great Plains groups.
Third graders are working to learn and memorize their multiplication facts, specifically multiples of 6 this week!
Story Hour at the Schuyler County Library last Monday was well attended. The next Story Hour is Monday, December 22nd 10:00-11:00.
