This morning, a student of the District suffered a serious accidental injury resulting in a medical transport by helicopter. District staff responded as soon as the injury occurred. No other students were directly involved in the incident. While we cannot release specific details due to privacy laws, we ask that our community keep the student and their family in your thoughts and prayers at this time.

Kole Lindquist was nominated by Mrs. O'Haver because before school even started, he was emailing Mrs. McClain and myself about starting college applications and wanting to take his test for admissions. He is on top of things and very motivated to do what he needs to further his career as a lineman.
Memphis Ague was nominated by Mrs. McClain because he is a very respectful and hardworking student. He attends the Kirksville Area Technical School and is helping build tiny homes in the construction program. After high school, he plans to attend State Technical College and get his AA, specializing in HVAC. Any time I see Memphis he is friendly and kind. He enjoys helping in the elementary, mentoring in the library. I wish Memphis all the best in his future plans.

Schuyler R1 High School 2025 graduate, Chelsea Miller has been awarded the rootEd Undergraduate Scholarship of up to $12,000 annually, renewable for up to five years to support her pursuit of a bachelor’s degree. Chelsea is attending Northwest Missouri State University and plans to earn her Bachelors of Science degree in Animal Science Pre-Vet. Chelsea said “receiving the scholarship means more than just financial assistance, it symbolizes hope and encouragement.” She plans to pursue her dream of becoming a veterinarian and return to Schuyler County to establish her own practice. Congratulations to Chelsea Miller, your future is bright.

🥎 Lady Rams finish their regular season with a couple of wins vs Green City! Varsity won 23-0 and JV 7-0. Districts starts next week!
