Schuyler R-1 Elementary is hosting their Grandparents' Day celebration on Friday, September 19th 10:30-12:00. A letter will go home with each elementary student this week.
Just a reminder completed free/reduced lunch forms are due Friday, September 5th to receive the $10/child credit for your household.
In Varsity Cross Country action Asher finished 9th, Jaxson 44th, and Tristen 58th out of 132 runners at Salisbury tonight. It's a great way to start the season off.

Lady Rams placed 3rd today as a team. Peyton Rice placed 5th overall.
Today, all elementary students and staff met in the gym. Each staff member was given a "school family" of PK-6th students. Students will be in their family until they go to 7th grade. They'll meet once a month to do an activity and build camaraderie.
Ms. Maize's first graders wanted to spend their first compliment party by having activity time with their preschool peers. It looks like everyone had a great time!

Varsity football is headed to Polo. There will be no live stream and no radio broadcasts.
Varsity Golf is headed to their first meet, the Westran Quad, in Moberly. Live results can be seen via the MSHSAA golf app but there is a fee.

4th, 5th, 6th grade football practice is cancelled for today. Miss Amanda will do their normal dismissal/bus routine unless you call the elementary and tell her otherwise.
Third graders read their story, “Gary the Dreamer," with a partner today.
Fifth grade science students utilized water and tools to better understand matter today.
Mr. Lutz deputized his freshman and sophomores into the Grammar Police Department.
Sixth grade science students learned how atoms make up molecules by using pipe cleaners and beads to build molecules.
