The month of April means state testing is upon us. The dates are listed below for individual grades. Please try to schedule any appointments on alternative dates if possible. If your child will not be at school any of the dates listed for their grade level, please let the office know as soon as possible.
Mrs. Harris' Digital Art students collaborated with Ms. Roberts' 2nd grade on a very fun "Adopt a Robot" design project. The 2nd graders drew robots and wrote descriptions about their robots, then the Digital Art class animated each robot for them.

The Varsity Scholar Bowl team went 7-3 on the day at Mexico’s BRIC tournament to claim 3rd place and the small school championship. Their record stands at 42-15. Well done Carter, Parker, Jaxson, and Colin.
The JV Rams also played well, beating several varsity squads and finishing 5-4. Their record stands at 28-17. Congrats Kensington, Deacon, Aubrey, and Ace.
Carter and Deacon each made the all tournament team.
MSHSAA solos amd small ensemble festival was today in Kirksville.
Asher Applegate, junior percussionist and Drake Spurgeon, senior trumpet, received an outstanding on their solos.
Juniors Sadie Allen, clarinet, and Taylor, trombone, and Sophomore Brendon Aeschliman, bassoon, received an Exemplary rating and qualify for state.
Kindergarten friends have been working hard on their writing skills! They wrote poems using the colors of a rainbow and drafted personal narratives with a problem and a solution.

Our 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students had the opportunity to go to Truman's Literature Festival to meet three authors and watch the "Schoolhouse Rock! Live" play performed by Truman students today!
Fifth grade extended their lesson over ecosystems by making their own fish tank ecosystems last week! 🐚🐠
