Kindergarten students at Schuyler work hard all year to develop their writing skills. We encourage them to become independent writers. It’s fun to use those skills to write silly sentences with a partner.

Kindergarten friends have been learning about Force & Motion in Science. They were able to find objects in the room that required a small amount or a large amount of force to move.
Mrs. Daniels’ class played a game of bumper bowling, which allowed them to put an object in motion and to change the direction of the object in motion.

In science, first graders have been learning about animal traits and how they adapt. They had some unique visitors last Friday to see webbed feet, beaks, fur, and other characteristics firsthand.

Mrs. Applegate’s second graders enjoyed a Quiz, Quiz, Trade learning activity about fact and opinion.

Mrs. Smith’s second graders experimented with sound through various materials.
